Background
Competed in the FBLA 2023 National Website Design competition. As the product manager and UI/UX designer, I founded our company’s brand, developed the user interface, created company graphics, delegated tasks & set timelines for project goals. After presenting our site on the regional, state, and national/international stages where we achieved 5th place.

Determining thea audience
Determined which color scheme, visual design, and company values that would appeal to the female adueince in the 12-25 age range.
Wireframing
Created lo-fi Figma designs and built the website on WIX Studio to implement functional user flows .
Designing & Prototyping
Rebuilt the website in Figma, improving hero image placement and adding more access points to scheduling and newsletter pages.
User Testing
Conducted 6 user interviews to identify design pain points and assess the website’s brand impression for improving visual effectiveness.
Redesigning
Added features to expand our user base, focusing on underrepresented groups in our community—including Indian, Polish, and Hispanic users. To support this, we implemented a website translator for Spanish, Hindi, and Polish.
Final Presentation
After qualifying from regional to state levels, we presented our company’s website on the national stage, demoing its functionality and visual design choices.
